I understand the concept of Suspending your belief for film but,  Monster Squad is kind of pushing it.   The kid writes a letter to the U.S. army ( In crayon) that says :  “Dear Army guys,  monsters have attacked our town, please come”.     Days later…  There’s fucking tanks in the town.
